The Belize Enterprise for Sustainable Technology (B.E.S.T.) has a seven-member Board of Directors which provides leadership and general policy oversight for the organization. It meets quarterly to review work completed, provide recommendations and plan for future programmes and project activities. Members of the board are well respected and knowledgeable professionals and entrepreneurs, drawn from a wide cross section of the Belizean society. Each individual member brings to the board, a sound knowledge of the socio-economic conditions of the country.

1. Mr. Eugene Palacio: Chairperson

Category served: Public Sector and Local Development
Profession: Public Sector Manager
Experience: Director of Local Government in the Ministry of Local Government with over twenty-one (21) years of experience in public administration with a focus on the management of local government institutions, particularly village councils and municipal councils.

2. Mrs. Jay Coombs: Director

Category served: Gender and Community Organizations
Profession: Development Planner
Experience: Programme Officer for United Nations Development Programme, with over fifteen (15) years of experience in project management with a gender perspective. She also has a wealth of experience working with international cooperation organizations, particularly the United Nations system.

3. Ms. Rosalie Saldivar: Director

Profession: Public Sector Manager
Experience: Manager of public sector investment projects with over twenty-one (21) years of experience, particularly in the social sector.

4. Mr. Dennis Jones: Secretary and Managing Director

Profession: Economist
Experience: Over twenty -one (21) years of management experience in Non Governmental Organizations and Credit Cooperatives. Has had experience as a Lecturer in Economics at the Associate Level. Has additional experience in insurance and housing cooperatives.
